Kimberly Iglesias Morales

Lawyer from the Universidad  de Concepción. Diploma  in Regulatory Compliance and Legal Risk Management in Business from the Pontificia  Universidad Católica  de Valparaíso. She has completed additional training in regulation and technological innovation at the Inter-American Development Bank and in justice and gender perspectives at the Universidad de Concepción.

Before joining VGC Abogados, I served as a legal advisor in the Legal and Legislative Division of the Ministry of the General Secretariat of the Presidency, where I was responsible for coordinating and reviewing the legislative agenda on matters of regulation and territorial organization, covering the portfolios of Housing and Urban Planning, National Assets, Transportation, and Regional Development, as well as reviewing administrative acts—supreme decrees and regulations—for the President of the Republic’s signature. Previously, I was associate at the law firm Becar & Becar Asociados in the city of Concepción.

I specialize in regulatory compliance, territorial regulation, and public law, and I have developed a line of research in water law and indigenous peoples’ rights, with academic publications in indexed journals and university presses. Currently at VGC Abogados, I am a member of the Environmental Law and Regulatory Compliance team, where I am actively involved in the area of Environmental Policy and Public Law.
