Proud to participate in the II International Conference on Compliance and Corporate Sustainability

On April 15th, Nicolás Padilla Moya, coordinator of the Criminal Litigation team at VGC Abogados, participated as a speaker at the 2nd International Conference on Compliance and Corporate Sustainability, organized by the Law School of Universidad del Desarrollo in Santiago, Chile.

During the first panel, Table 3—dedicated to Environmental Compliance and Sustainability—a topic of growing relevance in the Chilean and Latin American regulatory landscape, where environmental compliance requirements have intensified significantly.

These conferences brought together more than 80 national and international speakers, addressing topics such as economic crimes, sustainability, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, business ethics, and corporate governance, with comparative experiences at the regional and European levels. It was a premier forum for critical reflection on the role of law in the sustainable transformation of the business sector.
