VGC Abogados attends Environmental Law Network Meeting at the University of Concepción

VGC Abogados shares Pablo Garrido Darricarrere, an associate in the Litigation team, attended the First Meeting of the Environmental Law Alumni Network, which took place on Friday, May 8th, at the University of Concepción.

The event, organized by the Center for Law, Environment, and Climate Change and the Faculty of Legal and Social Sciences, was held within the framework of the project “Environmental Law Alumni Network: Contributions to Chilean Environmental Law from Professional Practice.” This project aims to connect undergraduate and graduate students interested in environmental law and natural resources with current professional practice and to foster relationships with the institutions where its graduates work.

During the meeting, alumni working in the private sector shared their professional journeys, work experiences, and current challenges in environmental, regulatory, and energy matters, highlighting the event’s importance in bridging practical experience with legal education.

Pablo Garrido Darricarrere‘s participation enabled students to learn firsthand about the practice of environmental law, including the challenges and opportunities that arise when advising project owners on complex, highly relevant matters.
